Students will put Words to Know  Chapter 3 Lesson 2 (p 62-69) in Notebook.

Students should "Grid Box" page  (minimum of 4 boxes to a page Maximum of 9 boxes)

In each box students will place the content vocabulary word (highlighed in yellow at the bottom of p 62 and then defined in the lesson at the bottom of the page where it is introduced)-  define the word   and draw a picture/image of what the word means to them

I will check these on Friday, September 8, in class.

 

 



Artifact Project
Due Date: 8/25/2017
Subject: Social Studies

Students will need help finding an artifact (object) that is "treasured by a family member...preferably at least one generation old-  so mom and dad...share a treasure and its story.   YOU DO NOT HAVE TO SEND THE OBJECT IN...a picture or a hand-drawn image will serve for this assignment...but students MUST write a paragraph about the object.   A sketch or "mock exhibit" of HOW THIS MIGHT BE DISPLAYED can be on a sheet of paper...NO NEED TO HAVE A POSTER BOARD  for this assignment.
